Firm Managing Partner

During his 29-year career, Larry has worked closely with approximately 150 senior leadership teams in various high-profile companies, helping them achieve their business objectives through strategic communications efforts both during the normal course of business and in times of crisis. 


Larry has directed financial communications and executive visibility programs for Fortune 1000 companies, start-up ventures, and partnerships in the financial services, consumer products, education, food retailing, healthcare, telecommunications, energy, real estate, professional services, and technology industries. 


Before joining LCA, Larry lead the corporate communications group for the Chicago office of the international PR firm Golin. Prior to that, he led the crisis communications/special situations practice for leading PR firm Greentarget. He spent seven years with Sard Verbinnen & Co, an international financial communications and issues management firm.  


Larry earned an MBA in finance and marketing from Loyola University Chicago. He graduated with a B.A. in Classics from Bucknell University.

Karla Kimrey is an award-winning professional with over 25 years of experience. Her background includes extensive communications and investor relations experience, with in-depth knowledge of institutional investors, traders, public companies and financial markets. Institutional Investor Magazine recognized her as one of the best IR professionals in North America. 


Karla has worked across a wide range of industries - from computer software and hardware to mining, distribution and energy. She has extensive experience with the capital markets, including initial public and secondary offerings, debt transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. She has in-depth financial acumen and significant experience counseling C-suite executives. Throughout her career, Karla has developed and instituted proactive communication programs with the investment community - resulting in establishing and re-establishing corporate and executive management credibility.


Karla has obtained her FSA (Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting) from the SASB and Investor Relations Certification (IRC) from the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) in June 2016. She received her Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from the University of Colorado.

Tim Blair is a seasoned communications leader with deep experience in professional services, technology, business process outsourcing, and healthcare. He specializes in helping organizations navigate complex challenges—whether that’s managing sensitive issues, shaping thought leadership, elevating executive voices, or standing out in a crowded market.


Over the course of his career, Tim has advised senior leaders on everything from mergers and acquisitions to customer relations, employee engagement, leadership changes, and competitive strategy. He’s worked alongside executives through periods of major change, quickly getting up to speed on complex topics and creating communications that keep people informed, aligned, and confident.


Most recently, Tim served as vice president and head of communications at Acadia Healthcare, the largest independent behavioral health company in the U.S. Before that, he led communications for professional services firms including Guidehouse and Grant Thornton LLP, and spent many years at IBM directing communications for global business units and major initiatives in intellectual property and IBM Research.


Tim earned his B.A. from Marquette University and his M.A. from Ball State University.

Rebecca is a strategic communications leader with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations tell their most important stories - in moments of celebration and moments of crisis. 


She has proven success in aligning executive voice, leading purpose and culture initiatives, and delivering measurable results in engagement and operational efficiency. She is known for building from the ground up, bridging gaps between leadership and employees, and creating high-impact storytelling strategies that drive understanding, pride, and performance within an organization and across external stakeholders. 


Rebecca received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an Integrated Marketing & Communications certificate from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Jeremy Tunis is an accomplished and versatile attorney with 20 years experience spanning communications, coalition building, crisis focused public affairs, political and legislative advocacy, labor relations, fundraising, thought leadership and C Suite level operations. Jeremy's work has been recognized through awards by publications such as PR Week and The Holmes Report and his clients have garnered positive coverage in New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Time, NPR, Fast Company, Financial Times, CNN, and The Atlantic.  


Prior to his current role, Jeremy has served as an employee and/or adviser to global organizations spanning diverse industries including Amazon.com, Edelman, Burson Marsteller (now BCW), Universal Health Services, Acadia Healthcare, various trade associations, legislative coalitions, political committees and global nonprofits.

In this capacity, he provided trusted C-Suite level counsel on grassroots coalition and stakeholder development, crisis preparedness and response, media relations, legislative and issue advocacy campaigns, thought leadership, competitive research and strategic partnerships.  


An alum of the University of Colorado at Boulder and University of Maryland School of Law, he holds his law license (Maryland).

Nathan Elwell is a co-founder and partner emeritus of Lincoln Churchill Advisors.

 

Nathan is the Vice President of Investor Relations at Douglas Dynamics, North America’s premier manufacturer and up-fitter of commercial work truck attachments and equipment. 


He has extensive experience helping companies successfully navigate critical events such as strategic transformations, M&A, IPOs, shareholder activism, and executive management changes.


Over his more than 25-year communications career, Nathan has advised more than 75 companies across various industries, including:

Nathan graduated with honors from The University of East Anglia in Norwich, Great Britain, earning a B.A. (Hons) 2:1 Degree in Economics with a minor in Economic History.

Blevin Brown has over ten years experience in equity capital markets and investor relations advisory.  His experience transitioning between sell-side, corporate, and advisory roles provided a unique perspective on the challenges surrounding investor feedback.  Finding other solutions in the market lacking, Blevin developed Veridian’s Continuous Market Sentiment Research (CMSR) approach in coordination with a team of analysts and leading researchers.  At Veridian, Blevin advises management teams on a full range of investor relations matters, leveraging CMSR to provide management teams with a clear, up-to-date understanding of how investors are assessing their businesses.  


Prior to Veridian, Blevin spent several years as an investor relations consultant, where his practice included developing strategies and investor communication programs for various corporate actions such as M&A transactions, management transitions, and activism defense. Prior to beginning his career as an investor relations consultant, Blevin held roles in Corporate Development at Uniti Group (UNIT) and in Equity Research at Stephens Inc.


Blevin holds a B.S.B.A. from the University of Arkansas.

 Brendan is the founder and owner of Fitzcores, a hyper-focused investor targeting service dedicated to helping IROs both close new investors and grow investment by existing investors. Fitzcores emphasizes accuracy, transparency, and ease-of-use and is available as an online service or data feed. 


Prior to launching Fitzcores, Brendan created BuysideIQ, an online targeting service he later sold in 2010 to Ipreo (now S&P Global) where he served as Director of Online Targeting for the following 13 years. Brendan began his investor relations career in 1995, setting up road shows for clients. It was this experience, at a time when information on investors was much more limited than it is today, that motivated Brendan to build the best targeting service in the world, so that he wouldn’t waste his time or his clients’ time on investors that had little chance of becoming owners.


Brendan is a leading expert in the field of investor targeting. Over his 30-year career, thousands of executives have relied upon his work to inform and improve their investor engagement efforts. His unwavering commitment to helping IROs effectively engage investors is as strong as ever.


Brendan received a B.A. in economics from the University of Notre Dame, and both an MBA and a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Michigan.
